3 Months Out....happy!

Recommended Posts

I am 3 months out as of yesterday. I have lost 69 pounds! I am delighted with my sleeve! I have more energy, I eat better, I exercise 3-5 times per week, and I don't regret it for a minute. My skin is loose everywhere. My husband says it is like I have a fat suit. I am sure that this will tighten up as the weight loss slows down. I know that I will have to have a Tummy Tuck as I have had two pregnancies and one of those was twins and I went full term. I am able to eat everything (though I don't) and have not found anything that I can not tolerate. I watch my protien, and keep carbs low, though I am not a fanatic about it. I can't wait to see how much I loose and how long it will take. I am halfway to goal.

Fantastic, you can really tell a big difference. I'm only a week sleeved, since my beginning stats are like yours I hope my success is close to yours. How many calories do you consume, and what type of exercise have you been doing? Your doing great keep it up.

Thank you!

My calories range from 600 to 1000 a day, but I always get my 60gm of protien. I think it is good to varry the calories so that your body does not get in a rutt. I have been luck to not have stalled more than 4-5 days in a stretch and there has only been 2 of those. As far as exercise, since about month 2 I have been on the tredmill increasing the walking speed for 30 minutes and weight training for 30 minutes alternating upper and lower body by the day. Today I did yoga strenthening (which was really hard). Again, trying to mix it up.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
