Is It A Pretty Successful Weight Loss Method?

Recommended Posts

Hi of course it depends on many things but is the sleeve a pretty successful weight loss method? I am just wondering...

Yes it does! I guess since I am about to get the surgery I feel it is almost too good to be true, so that's why I am still pinching myself. The thing is that because I got the Lap Band and it barely made a difference, I am a little hesitant about this working. But I think this is a far better procedure than the lap band because, 1. The absence of the hormone, and 2. You actually feel full not unable to eat.

Yeah, it works. Stats speak volumes--just look around this site and you'll see how many of us have dropped a BUNCH of weight. More importantly for me, I've dropped it and it's going to stay off--this tool doesn't go away. Even today, and I'm 15 months out, I can't eat big ol' meals, and I literally cannot eat fried foods or many baked goods or pasta--Sleevie has my back.

That's awsome, I have been anticipating this moment for a long time. It like weight has always been my main problem stuck in the cycle, so it is hard for my mind to get that it won't be as tough anymore I guess that's what's happening. Thanks to both of you I will keep my hopes up

All WLS have pros and cons. The sleeve works, but it requires you to work too. The same thing can be said of other procedures as well.

Anyway, I am beyond thrilled with my results so far!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
