Ohhhhh We're Halfway There!

Recommended Posts

Ok, more like "I". But still!

I am, as of this morning, halfway to goal! In just under 4 months I have lost 60 pounds and have just 60 more to go!

60 seems so much more doable than the 120 I started at.

Losing is certainly getting way harder than it was and I think I am really going to have to buckle down on what I eat and how often I work out!

Just wanted to share with you guys and thank you all for always being here :)

Great job!! It's amazing how fast we reach that 50% mark and how much better we feel! I can remember when my ticker showed just a few pounds gone and over 100 left. It wasn't that long ago. Now, it's just a few pounds left, under 60! I know you're happy dancing and I'm boogying right along with you, if only for the extra calorie burn! :)

It definately becomes harder, but you can do it. Consider getting a weighted vest for your runs, or if you wear slacks to work maybe ankle weights - stuff like that actually gives you an edge, since you are putting back some of the weight you had on during your workouts!

I walk occasinally with a medicine ball, and kind of swag it back and forth between my arms...

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
