June Sleevers! Hows It Going?

Recommended Posts

I was sleeved on June 12. My highest weight before surgery was 273. Day of surgery, I weighed 248.8. As of this morning, I weigh 202.6. I have lost 70.4 pounds. 46.2 pounds since surgery....and only a couple pounds until Onderland!

I went from wearing a 22/24 to size 16 in jeans so far.

I am new to this forum. I had surgery in July and weighed in at 214. It is now the end of Sept and I'm down to 184. Should I be weighing less than that? I am trying to get down to 140 by the end of December. Is that too soon?

I was sleeved on June 26 I gave been in a stall for about 2-3 Weeks. Post-op I was 267. Now I am 222. I am still thrilled with the results but wish it was a little faster. I am able to eat anything but trying hard to make good high Protein and low carb choices. I so happy to read this forum, it's an amazing journey with AMAZING people!

I notice that I can't eat and drink at the same time. I also can't eat veggies and a meat at the same time because my stomach can't take it. I had two pieces of Ikura hand roll (which is my absolute favorite) and my stomach couldn't take it. I think I should be losing more wright since I am not eating as much. Lets see in a few months!

Today I had my 3 month post op with the doc who advised that I was doing great..I started at 288lbs before the surgery and as of today I am down 50lbs... Honestly it's still surreal to me that the weight is actually coming off... I don't remember the last time when I lost 50lbs..

I went from a size 24 pants to 18. I am finally able to fit into cute Gap jeans.. (Ps one of my favorite stores)

People around me are starting to notices and its making me feel great.. My boyfriend loves the new me!! We are able to do a lot more things....

I have been able to try new things such as flying yoga and training for the 5K. I can go and run around with my puppy without dying.. I am so grateful for the opportunity that I have been give. I do not regret my decision one bit and I recommended it to everyone around me..

Best of luck to everyone out there... Much love!!! <3

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
