Hi Everyone,

I am so excited! Today I had my consult with my surgeon and the next step is to schedule the surgery. I'm doing at at VCU/MCV Medical Center in Richmond, VA. They are a "Center for Excellence" and began with the original lapbands years ago. Anyway, just wanted to say hi and I'm looking forward to this journey!!!

Congrats....mine is on the 6th sept in Rockville Maryland

I have my 2nd appointment on Sept 7 and I am very excited. My insurance used to require 6 months under a medically supervised WL plan but they no longer require that so I hope I can have surgery by the end of October.

Congratulations! I'm approved for surgery by my surgeon...but still impatiently waiting to hear if my insurance will cover the procedure. I can't wait to hear about your journey!
