try all liquids..I had to do all liquids for 2 weeks before surgery..it worked- I lost more weight with the pre-op diet than after the surgery! Best of luck!

I was band the same month and year as you and have lost the same amount of weight...do you think because you cant eat the right things that maybe you could get a small unfill so you could eat the good things and get yourself back on track? looking for size 12 if anyone has any in the Maryland area

I just cant seems to get this thing right.....I started out good=40lbs lost... but now nothing but up down up down 5-7 lbs! HELP!:faint:

well I got into the shower the next day...just dont soap up the area of the steri-strips if you have them.

Try a heating pad..use it for a few days and see if that helps-good luck

I started out at a BMI of 35 by the time I had surgery I was at a BMI of 31... I had surgery on Sept 6th 2006 and im now at a BMI of 28.3 and I have lost about 35 lbs. I had to fight every lb lost! I have about 30 lbs to go to my goal. Best of luck to you!

I also had to wait and thought the same as you...But it all worked out for the best. Take the time to read more about the band your getting in the next 6 months and how to make it work for the rest of your life...best of luck to you! It will be here in no time -trust me!

Had surgery on Sept 6th 2006 started at 5-5 surgery weight at 182- down to 168 today..the weight is for sure NOT falling off of me. Its been hard for me to lose the weight. 1-2 lb a week...NOT FOR ME~But that would be nice!

I didnt have any stitches just those steri-strips. Shoot I went in and he started my surgery at 8am and I was home at 230 that afternoon anddddddd walked around the block as soon as I got home!
