This happens to me occasionally, not really sure why though :( Sorry I can't offer any suggestions. I've already planned to ask my dr. at my next visit.

There can be a lot of causes. Two common ones that pop into mind are low blood sugar and low blood pressure - both are pretty common problems as a newish sleever. Oh, and a third issue... dehydration. It can cause a lot of unfun things. So make sure you are hitting your Water goals every day.

I agree that this would be something good to bring up with your doctor. Sorry he has a bad bedside manner... you could also ask your regular doctor instead of your surgeon.

You need to be really careful with this ... Make sure your drinking plenty of fluids . This was happening to me before and didnt think much of it, till I finally passed out and had to go to the ER becasue of it . It turned out that i was slowy getting dyhyrated and had to be put on liquid IV'S to rehydrate my body . This was a bit scary for me because I felt great all along , just some dizzy spells from on and off till i finally woke up with a big bump on my head on the shower floor from passing out .

I felt just like this ALL through my losing phase! It is most likely a bit of dehydration and the fact that you are living off very few calories now. It was strange one day it was there then suddenly it was gone. I never passed out but came real close a few times. I got used to getting up slowly and just standing still for a second before trying to move some where. Are you getting in enough fluids?

My dizziness is ALWAYS dehydration!! My doc tell me not to let it get to bad, if i feel like i havent gotten enough waster in 48 hours to go get an IV. I have really good insurance and only have to pay 10 bucks to make a trip to the doc so i just go get an IV. If you feel like you cant get enough Water try sugar free pop-cicles, i NEVER get thirsty unless working out so i struggle with my Water EVERY DAY. I have these 2 big smart water bottles that are 32 ounces. i know when i get those 2 empty i am ok. Sometimes i have to stay up late just to get it all in.

Good luck and feel better!

I experience this often. My blood pressure is low, I tend to be anemic and with the calorie restriction it can get pretty bad. I notice it most when I work in the yard and move from crouching down to stand up. I never thought about it as a dehydration issue but I'm pretty good about fluids, especially when I'm outside working.

If you get dizzy when u stand this is most likely dehydration. You need to work to get fluids in and if you are falling into walls you should prob go to the er because that is where he will send u any way.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
