This is the best secret no one buys. I hate Protein Powder, but GNC has a pre-made shake called Lean Shake. It sits in the front of the store, because it sells so good. It has 25g of Protein, lactose free and is YUMMY! By the way, it is pre-made. I knock one down driving to work every morning after walking two miles. I will have another for a mid-morning snack. Check out my blog, if you want to know what they look like. I drank these pre and post op. Awesome!

They are pretty good, and if you join their club, you get a discount.

Loved it too. Just tried their Mhp brand chocolate pudding. It tasted better than any jell-o pudding I ever made. 30 grams of Protein 0 carbs too. Sweetened with Splenda, listed as sucrolose.

I am so bummed - saw this post this AM and beat feet to my nearest GNC....only to find out that the Lean shake is NOT lactose free. As I am totally and painfully lactose intolerant, I am sad - I have been looking for a good no-lactose shake without luck. :(

Maybe next time.

The ready to drink shakes Lean Shake from GNC are definitely lactose free. I drink them daily and love them. Look again.

Let me correct myself - the powdered Lean shakes. I can't do RTD due to the nature of my work. Wish I could >.<

You know you can drink those shakes warm or cold. I just drank one I left in the car all day.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
