I'm 7 days post-op and have not dropped any weight in two days. Im following everything to a tee. I have lost ten for the week which I'm

very, very happy about but I need to know if this is normal. I think the scale was invented by the devil!!!

The scale WAS invented by the devil! Just calm down, use your patience and let it happen. You aren't going to lose weight every day, or even every week, but the overall trend will be downward. Keep working your plan: drink your Water, get in your Protein and add in exercise as you're allowed to do so. In a couple of months you will be posting an amazing amount of weight lost! :)

You've just begun your journey and it's time to sit back and enjoy the ride. It's only been 7 days and you have lost 10 lbs already! That's totally amazing. You are doing fine, focus your energy on sipping your Water and drinking your Protein Drinks. Don't get in the habit of stepping on the scale every day because every day you body weight fluctuates. This is the normal rhythum of your body. The weight will come off so there's really no need to worry. You are doing great!! ;)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
