The scale WAS invented by the devil! Just calm down, use your patience and let it happen. You aren't going to lose weight every day, or even every week, but the overall trend will be downward. Keep working your plan: drink your water, get in your protein and add in exercise as you're allowed to do so. In a couple of months you will be posting an amazing amount of weight lost! :)

You've just begun your journey and it's time to sit back and enjoy the ride. It's only been 7 days and you have lost 10 lbs already! That's totally amazing. You are doing fine, focus your energy on sipping your water and drinking your protein drinks. Don't get in the habit of stepping on the scale every day because every day you body weight fluctuates. This is the normal rhythum of your body. The weight will come off so there's really no need to worry. You are doing great!! ;)

I'm 4 days post op and haven't touched the scale! I was pumped so full of Iv fluids I figure I'll wait til my md check up. Today is also the first day I've felt like doing anything..
