And me too. With Dr. Braverman, So CA ....can't believe how fast time flew by.

My surgery is 3 days away and I can't sleep at all. I'm very nervous and starting to have second thoughts... I keep asking myself: How am I Christian if this is considered self mutilation? What if I have complications? What if I can do this on my own? What example am I setting for my 12 year old sister by doing this? I'm also thinking... I have no self control and don't know how it got me to such an extreme.

Any support would be greatly appreciated.

God loves us as we are but he did not create us fat.....this is health related..is it mutiation for gull bladder surg, bone reconstruction after an accident? This is a choice but one to keep gods children ohealthy..

Its crazy how Aug 6th is tomorrow....still don't know how to feel....I think it will hit me in the morning....today I am all liquids... glad it was only the day before!.... good luck to everyone having surgery tomorrow!! May god continue to bless us all!!!

Well heck...if its bothering you, you might want to consider ditching 80% of it .

Surgery tomorrow!! Nervous and exited. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers I go to hospital at 8:30 am and surgery around 10:30 I think. Pre op diet of 2 weeks I lost 10 pounds. Holy cow I am nervous now. I just want to wake up from surgery so I know all is good. I can deal with pain... I sure hope so. Thinking of all of you having surgery tomorrow. Hugs

Glad you're doing so well, Joyce!! Your updates, as well as those others who have been sleeved the past few days, are easing my mind so much. Thank you. Just a few more days.....

On day 7 of my 10-day pre-op liquid protein diet. I'm doing rather well, but had 2 different birthday parties to deal w/ the past few days (one @ my house.... pizza & DQ cake, anyone?!!). I'm so ready to hole up in my house for the next 4 days (then the next month!) to be away from everyone else's food influences! ................so happy to be here w/ you guys... the updates from you who have been sleeved the past few days are really easing my mind, so THANK YOU!! Glad you're all doing so well.
