Apparently the "Week 3 stall" is well documented on this forum and many others. I think it's probably your body finally going "woah...what's going on here?" and slowing down to take stock of the situation.

Hang in there....I've read that it passes.....just how long it will take varies with each person.

Only 13 days until my surgery.......I can't wait until I'M 3 weeks post-op! LOL :)

I was sleeved 4/10......can't loose weight to save life either. Same weight since last Monday. Depressing but I know I am not alone. Lost 22 lbs in 2 weeks....so I can't complain.

I'm almost 4 weeks out and just realized I gained 5lbs and am extremely puzzled...surgery weight was 266 lbs...week 2 post op I was 247 lbs...week 3 I weighed 242 lbs and now that I'm entering week 4 I'm back at 247 lbs...I have to admit I'm not getting in Proteins as I should...to stall is one thing but gaining weight is counterproductive...smh...my 4 week post op visit is in the a.m so I will see what happens

I am almost 3 wks post sleeve. Getting discouraged. Only lost about 12 lbs so far. I am walking 2 miles per day. Trying to get calories/protein in, but I know I'm missing the mark. I get sick frequently after eating..any suggestions??

As someone said the three weeks stall happens to almost everybody I'm 3 weeks out as well and I've been reading how important it is to try to increase your calorie intake and keep on taking your Protein Shakes and Water those are the keys to success. Harder for some than others. In my case I'm feeling great but I avoid the scale because I know we're all curious but I'm trying my hardest to do it once a month 2 the most because it happens to all of us at some point. Down worry it will get better

I went three weeks with no weight loss. From week two. Then all of a sudden bam it's falling off. Hang in there. It starts again.

I was going nuts. Thought I was doing something major wrong. Silly me.

Hi I'm going on week 3 as well (4/11). I'm eating more really haven't lost any either in the past few days. I'm worried cause my dr has said to listen to my body, get Protein and Water in, but eat what I can. Stay away from veggies and salad for a few more weeks. He says eat things close to the ground. I'm eating regular food. Not much, but chicken, tuna, etc. I hope I'm doing ok because I read alot where people seem to be on full liquids for weeks and weeks. I do not want to stretch my stomach. Nonetheless hang in there. Do what the dr says and I'm sure it will come off.....

I was sleeved 4/9, lost 10 lbs the first two weeks post surgery, then I've fluctuated up and down the same pound over the past week. Net change is zero for the past 7 days. Frustrating but expected. Had my first post surgery checkup today and my NUT said this is completely normal, my body is in shock and starvation mode and things should improve once I can start eating "real" (soft) food next week.

Hang in there!

Thank you all so much for the feedback. I am a nurse & feel like I should know what to do...but I don't! I'm used to taking care of others, not so much me. I've been walking 1-2 miles a day. Guess I could be laying down some muscle as well. I just want to see the scales move! Lol

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
