Telling My Story... Exactly What I Plan To Do!

Recommended Posts

I just wanted to check in with you all, I don't come by as much anymore. I'm more at My Fitness Pal or Fitocracy but I do check in here from time to time. I'm always just a message away too. I do get emails when someone sends me a private message here. :)

So, I just thought I'd tell all of you that I plan to become a Personal Trainer / Fitness Instructor / Nutritionist focusing on Bariatrics and Super Obese patients. Yeah... I sign up for Next Semester a few weeks. I know what I must do!!!

Joel Osteens message really REALLY hit me the other day. It must happen!!!

So, just as I have shared my story here with all of you, I will soon be sharing my story with thousands of others on a first hand basis. I really want to help EVERYONE SUCCEED!! I know it can be done, even if this is our first, third or five hundredth time working it.

Blessings everyone!!!

Irene,

I knew you were special the first time I was on the forum. Reading this just gave me chills. You, dear one, have a personal message you can share (from a former morbid obese person..me.. hearing REAL people, choices and success is motivating) and for you to help others get healthy, learn what to do, choices to make and know they can succeed is a fantastic end play. Your personal success will continue for a long, long time through others.

Congratulations!

Sandy

Thank you... you nearly brought me to tears right now. Seriously!

I've been pushing this aside, even after all this time I didn't believe in myself enough to believe I could or even should do this. I never felt "good enough". But I am... and as hard as it is for me to say something truly and sincerely nice about myself is another step up that staircase to a better me!!!

Keep working it y'all!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
