Dr Garcia's Patients

I finally had a moment to go through some of the YouTube channels. I was watching MsMook and in one of her videos she was getting an endoscopy. Ok so now I'm freaked out. Is this something that he does to all his patients or just ones that were there for a lap-band to sleeve revision?

I know that he was given meds to numb her throat and medicine to relax her but I had a very bad experience when I was younger and now am just freaking out about the thought of having this done.

Help me relax please

Kisha

Oh Yuck!! They had cantalope and watermelon when I was there..

Lol well maybe tonight or Thursday it will be better, though I might not care then lol :)

I have a dumb question. Are you allowed a watch, wedding ring, earrings etc? Are they kept safe while you are in surger? Do the accept American money?

I don't know about being allowed jewelry, but I chose to leave my wedding ring & earrings at home and thats all the jewelry I normally ever wear. Hospitals usually recommend that you leave valuables at home.

I paid in advance with a personal check in US funds.

Thanks Melissa

I will have to check on jewellery as there is no way my wedding band is coming off. I tried soap and windex lol.

You might swell up in the hospital from the fluids, you might watch out lol :)

My girlfriend tol me to try Vaseline lol. That might work.

They can always put tape over it..it's white surgical tape..

I had a watermelon and it was disgusting!! Frozen fruit in ice...Gross!

Kat, YouTube how to get it off using dental floss. You're going to swell up and could lose circulation in that finger.

I didn't like the hotel marriott's popsicles!

They were NASTY!

Thanks Stragelynormal lo. I will research some more as you are sure making sense.
