Dr Garcia's Patients

I finally had a moment to go through some of the YouTube channels. I was watching MsMook and in one of her videos she was getting an endoscopy. Ok so now I'm freaked out. Is this something that he does to all his patients or just ones that were there for a lap-band to sleeve revision?

I know that he was given meds to numb her throat and medicine to relax her but I had a very bad experience when I was younger and now am just freaking out about the thought of having this done.

Help me relax please

I cant provide any insight because man, I am on day 2 of this pre op diet and I am suffering big time... I have tried to change things up today but I am still starvin like marvin..

I am also battling caffeine withdrawal so I am sure that is making things 100 times worse

Keep up the good work. I caved a little today and I haven't given up my caffeine. Cant't imagine. If you need to vent write me a note.

thanks, I am trying. But my head was hurting so bad that I broke down and got some caffeine. But instead of a tall, I got a short from Starbucks.... headache gone...thank you jesus. but now I feel so bad for caving in....

Ur welcome. I saw that on a TV show a long time ago and have ended up getting them off lots of people.

Lol okay strangely normal how do I quit eating when I come home from work I head straight for the fridge - but I am not even hungry its just because of the stressful day. Lol

Honestly? There are 2 different ways. When u walk in the door go straight to the bathroom n brush your teeth instead BC nobody wants to eat after they brush his/her teeth. And if you need to u can do one of my oldest tricks in the book. Buy a box of straws. After u brush your teeth, grab straw and chew on it. It gives u something to crunch on. I was never a snacker after high school. I'm a "volume eater". My mom taught us that trick when we'd come home from school and want to eat her out of house n home before dinner. And well, I'm bi-polar and also take cymbalta and abilify. Those help lol

Thank you. I will try that today. You are the best! Have a good day!
