A BIG HELLO to all of my April SLEEVERS!!! I hope all of you are doing well! I am 7 wks out & have lost 28 lbs. I was expecting more by this point. :( I am struggling somewhat with my eating habits. I want to snack' date=' which is a big no, no! Got to get it under control! Going to the beach in July & I REALLY want to loose 15 more lbs by then! Wish me luck! :D[/quote']

I'm 7 weeks out as well and am only down 28lbs. I follow the diet and exercise every day for an hour. I just think that losing slowly, I will have less sagging skin and I will also decrease my chances of losing my hair.

One month since surgery! Feeling good and slowly regaining my energy level. Down 32.1 pounds since my pre-op appointment March 28th.

Down 42 lbs. since date of surgery 4/2/12... and I do what I want! I dish out bold flavor and bust power moves! No seriously, I just eat protein shakes, wendy's chili, a grilled chicken leg here and there. Boar's Head OvenGold turkey breast and lacey swiss cheese (I roll them together)- I walk 2 miles at lunch at a local park, work out on the ellptical at home. One thing I did during a stall was have two snack size bags of lays potato chips, it blew me up but got rid of so much GUNK in my stomach- I lost 5 lbs the next day! food for thought....best of luck to all you fellow april sleevers....

Down 19.5 - sleeved on 4/24- I'm happy with that--- just started treadmill 30 mins a day walking with a 4.0 incline so I'm interested to see how that impacts my losing. I'm worried what will happen when I start introducing more regular foods - I'm hoping it doesnt slow things down- but if I stay at 1-2 lbs per week, I'm thrilled with that!

Hey all I was sleeved on 4/20 so I am a little over 1 month post op.. Would love to become friends with all the april sleevers so we can compare notes. I doing pretty good 9lbs lost since surgery total weight loss is more though.. How are you all doing since the big day?

Sleeved 4/23. With preop - down 24 pounds.

Surgery 4/17 down 36 lbs. wohooo!!!!

Sleeved on 4/30 and down 6 pounds since surgery. I've been the same for almost 3 weeks but I found a great thread on another site that talks about the "dreaded 4-6 week post op stall" and it made me feel 100% better. I think I am going to post something about this in a separate place for people experiencing this. I was in another forum and 2 or 3 people suggested something was wrong with me or rather that I might not be doing something right because they thought my weight loss was so low. But now I know it is normal for some people to experience this. Good luck fellow April sleevers! :):)

PS. I tried to place a link to the site and got an error message saying the administrator does not allow it. :( Ridiculous. Anyway, if anyone is interested you can do a Google search for "vertical sleeve weight loss stall" and the first thing that comes up has something underneath that says "stall after 2 weeks"? If you click on that you can see several things and it directs you to another place also. Worth the visit. Or it was for me. :)

Sleeved 4/25, down 28 lbs including pre-op. I think each and every one of us have done a great job!

I had surgery the same day and down 40 lbs! It's amazing how good I feel. I still struggle as well with protein and Water. Everyday I do a little better but it's so hard when I'm full! I need to exercise more too! Sounds like we r. Both going thru the same thing! Best of luck!

I am so jealous!!!! 50 pounds!

I was sleeved April 20th. I'm done 30 pounds but I lost 10 before surgery. I'm at a stall and frustrated. I get my protein and water in daily, take two multi vitamins and calcium daily. I'm having a hard time exercising because my knees are bad. I can sure feel the difference in my clothes. It's great to see how others are doing. I'm thankful for this site and all of you!!
