  1. Oh my I was sleeved on 4/10 and my hair is falling out like crazy! I already take biotin. Anything else you guys can suggest?
  2. It's mainly because of the anesthesia in your system and any pain meds. I think I drove after like a week.
  3. You should be fine. We played a lot outside. If I needed to take a nap I would set them up with toys or put on the tv and made them stay in the same room with me. Good luck!!!
  4. It depends on your surgeon. I have been drinking out of a straw since week 3. It helps me get my fluids in : )
  5. I had c-sections and the sleeve. The sleeve was nothing compaired to the csections. Not bad at all : )
  6. Maybe I'm going to be the odd one out here but I still love food. I'm 10 weeks. Not at first of course because how exciting can chicken broth be. I enjoy the little i get and those few bites are nice. Im excited i dont eat like a truckdriver anymore. Im one happy camper with a sugar free fudgesicle too!!!
  7. I'm 10 weeks out and I eat salad all the time. I just make sure it has lots of high protein stuff on it. Yummy!!!
  8. I had Chinese the other day. I had shrimp and broccoli and gave my egg roll and rice away. I asked them to sautée with less oil. I also have hamburgers without the bun. I usually split it with one of my kids who don't eat a whole hamburger anyway. Works out good. I put ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomatoe, and pickle. It's super yummy and your getting your protein : ) I'm 9 weeks out and if it's to dry I can't eat it. So I use ketchup. I'm not using a cup of it or anything but enough to moisten it up since I use a leaner cut of hamburger. This tool has been given to me and i love it. I cant eat like a truck driver but i do still enjoy foods. I love my sleeve. I have tried everything but dont eat breads or pasta or rice. I have tried them to see if i can. Nothing bothers me to much. I unfortuatly dont dump either. So i choose not to have those things either. I have lost almost 71 lbs since surgery 9 weeks ago so I must be doing semi ok : )
  9. I stop when I feel that pressure which is about 3 oz. it depends on what it is. I hate to slime or puke so make sure I don't get past that pressure feeling : )
  10. I'm 9 weeks out and tried it a couple of weeks ago with no probs.
  11. Congrats that is awesome!!!
  12. I make it all the time and I'm 9 weeks out. Love it!
  13. Doctor told me I could have 1 cup daily so I have been drinking it since surgery. Nothing in it of course at first. Just make sure you drink extra water.
  14. Sounds like the symptoms of low blood sugar but your eating so I don't know. You need to tell your doc though.
  15. I having been eating tomatoes since week 5 without problems. They are so good! I might even eat them to much. I will slice some up with my protein of chicken, fish or steak and I know your always supposed to eat protein first but I always sneak in a little tomato. The only probs I have are I don't like the way eggs feel some times and chicken that is not moist enough. Oh and water first thing in the morning almost makes me gag. But that could be psycological lol. I am about 8 1/2 weeks out and down 63 lbs since surgery. Love the sleeve : )
  16. I started taking them whole around 2 weeks. No problems : )
  17. Im sleeping so much better! I feel so much more rested. I must have had a little sleep apnea or something.
  18. I am almost 8 weeks out and lost 62 lbs and I seriously just went down a size. It's because my clothes were so tight before : )
  19. I think if I remember right the honey oat from subway is better for you than the wheat. I'm almost 8 weeks out too and I'm sure if you did get that meal you wouldnt be able to eat more than a bite of the bread anyway. Because if you eat all your protein then some veggies you probably only have room for a bite. Some people can't tolerate bread that early. I took a bite of toast once and it didn't bother me. I also tried a couple crackers. Someone told me to try cucumbers in place of crackers. It still gives you a crunch. So when I go to subway they give me a scoup of tuna salad and a few cucumbers slices. It's like a $1 for lunch!!!! I don't even miss the carbs. But I don't deny myself either. If I want it I try it. I have lost 62 lbs since surgery 7 1/2 weeks ago. I think if you eat your protein first you really don't want to much of anything else : )
  20. I'm almost 8 weeks out and I ate a lot of really fattening icecream. I'm still not sure why I did it because I have been doing great with weight loss. I have lost like 62 lbs since surgery. The guilt I had was horrible. But with others help to tell me that I'm only human and just to get back on the wagon. I was down 2 lbs the next day. Maybe it was the protein in the icecream lol!
  21. May God Bless her. Being a nurse that was a fear of mine to wake up and they tell me that. Poor thing. I will pray for her.
  22. I have been drinking coffee from about day 4. But that sounds like to much sugar : (
  23. I took whole pills 2 weeks post op and I was fine. A little freaked out but fine.
  24. I'm an ER nurse and I went back at 3 1/2 weeks. I think 4-5 would have been better. Did ok though.
