Prayinng I Can Go Home :(

So I am officially sleeved! Had surgery on Monday, and I was supposed to go home yesterday, but I was so nauseous I couldn't even hold down an ice chip :( So, they kept me here. I am grateful that the surgeon is cautious, but I wanna go home! :(

Sabrina, Hopefully you'll be heading home today! Congrats on taking a huge step for the rest of your life!! :)

Hope you feel better soon and get to go home. I was in the hospital an extra day as well. The first couple of weeks were the hardest, but once the swelling started going down it was a whole new ball game. I am doing great now, and you will to before you know it. Goodluck

Sorry to hear you're having to stay in the hospital. That happened to me too. They kept me for 3 nights because I couldn't keep anything down. They said I probably had a reaction to the anesthesia. Hopefully you can go home soon but at least you're where they can take good care of you. I know there is no place like home but if you get dehydrated you'll end up right back in the hospital. Don't rush yourself! Try the popsicles if they have them. That was the only thing that I could stomach at first. I think the cold helped with the extra swelling. Good luck!

It is rarely easy at first. It does get better!

So happy your where you need to be. The hardest thing is to go home and have to go back to the hospital due to dehydration. It does get better! ;)

Aww honey - so sorry to hear you are feeling bad. But dont worry. It will surely get better very soon. I pray that you have a speedy recovery and start feeling good.

I know how you feel. They kept me another day because my red cell count was low. I was so bored and sick of the hospital. Dehydration is a worry and if not fixed will just land you back into the hospital. Praying for you too. Take it easy and sip.

Ah crud. Well, they know best. Tomorrow is not far off. Sip and walk, sip and walk ...
