I am just starting this journey of doctor's and trying to get an approval for the lap band. However, I have been researching and contemplating this for over 2 years. I have finally gotten the "guts" to drown out the negative comments and make the decision that I felt was best for me and not anyone else. That in and of itself was very liberating. I'm scared and nervous, but also excited to "restart" my life.
