I head to the hospital Monday morning at 7:15am! Surgery should be around 10:30am.

I feel very calm in many ways but I'm anxious too if that makes any sense. I'm totally committed to this and to life after but I came home from my final pre-op appointments yesterday wanting tastes of this and that- like I baked a sweet potato to eat tomorrow as my last meal... bizarre.

Anyone else Monday? I can't get into the January 2012 sleevers forum to post there...

Given the time difference, you'll probably be out by the time I head in! Good luck!! Hope things go perfectly for you!

Ok ladies! we're so close!! Today is my only pre-op liquids-only day and sitting at costco with my mom and son and their hot dogs was interesting. Usually I'd be joining in with a piece of pizza...

I need to head out to pick up my meds and go in search of some sugar-free popsicles at Target. Then, take down the Christmas tree and few outside lights. After that maybe a movie?

Cristin, Kareforme - GOOD LUCK tomorrow!!! It's going to be a good day!

Same with me.. today was my only Clear Liquids day, but I still really watched myself this week and did a lot of Protein Shakes. I'm really hungry, so I am glad this surgery is first thing in the morning!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
