Are you looking for the BariatricPal Store? Go now!

I have embraced a new GOAL!!

Recommended Posts

This morning I am getting my last procedure performed. The results from my previous one has already provided results beyond my wildest dreams! I still have so much swelling to go down, I just can't believe how amazed I am!

So... I had these jeans I bought. They are Levi's Size 4 / 27 Skinny Jeans I bought from their website. Now these are REAL size 4's. They are more like Size ZERO in stores or vanity sizing. I had them sitting around wondering if I could or even should ever try to really get into them. Well, with my results so far I finally believe that goal is really achievable.

I announce here and now, this is MY NEW GOAL!! I virtual size 0. ZERO!!!

I am going to buy some 0's from the store so I'll be able to say that I really am in Zero's but I seriously doubt it will really matter. I know I'll do it.

I didn't know where else to place this. It's not really a "success" just yet... and now I'm looking forward to making that post in the success section!!!!

Have a great day everyone. I probably won't be around much for the next few days because I'll be recovering. I just wanted to put this out there for now while I'm of sound mind. LOL!!

:)

You can meet any goal you set before you. Just look at all your past goals for the proof in that! Hugs

Diva - hope the procedure went well and you are on the road to feeling better. You will fit into those size 4 levis size 0 vanity sizes in no time!

My 12 skinny jeans from Levi's are starting to get lose - but NO WAY my skeleton would ever fit into a 4. You are a TINY and beautiful woman. WAY TO GO!

Haha!! You all are so amazing! Such a breath of fresh air for me this morning.

I'm sitting here with my cup of coffee and healing is going really good. Pain is not as bad as the first one, I think due to taking my pain medication this time (don't ask) and the areas completed aren't as sensitive.

Just wanted to give a quick check in that I'm a-ok. Day 2 is statistically the worst so if that's the case I'll be up and at em in no time at all.

:bolt:

I have a pair of Levi's size 6 jeans that fit, so I've also been wondering if they may be a bit vanity-sized LOL. But you will be in those 4s in no time, I'm sure. And I can't wait to see how the Lipo went!! Here's hoping the lack of killer pain stays the same for the next few days!!

Hello!! I got my new jeans today. Zappos is great. ;-) Aaaannnyyywwaayyyy... I took a few photos to share because I wanted to show the differences (not much) in "vanity sizing". You can see the Levi's and the NYDJ's are exactly the same size... yet the Levi's are 4's and the NYDJ's are 0's. In fact, I'm saying right now, I'll fit those 0's first. They are much more stretchy and have more leg room. LMAO!!!!

Ready, Set, GO!!! Like I said, I don't care how long this takes. I'm just going to keep doing what I know how to do and spot checking during my workouts. Could take 6 months, could take a year, I don't know.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
