Well, this INFP just got approved for surgery today!!!!! I don't know if your theory is true or false, but the lack of INFP's answering the poll might be because there are just less of us out there in general. Some say we make up just 1-2% of the US population! Personally, I think you're on to something here though....

Off to Celebrate my good news!

I am really amazed by the results so far ... wow, there are a lot of INTJs here. That is so interesting! That is not what I anticipated.

There is another personality related theory that is somewhat derived from the MBTI called "temperament theory" (David Kiersey) and he groups the 16 MBTI types into four "temperaments" -- "Artisan" SP (sensing perceiver), "Guardian" SJ (sensing judger), "Idealist" NF (intuitive feeler), and "Rational" NT (intuitive thinker). So far, based on those who have submitted results, it appears that "Idealist" NF and "Rational" NT temperaments are far more represented here than in the overall population and the "SP" and "SJ" types are under-represented.

Keep those votes coming! Thank you!

The only one that was strongly expressed was the intuitive though. I swear, everytime I take this I get a slightly different answer, but I don't remember exactly

It turns out I am a field marshall...lol. Since I am a project manager I guess that makes some kind of sense. There is a quote that I thought fit me to a "T" - as I never really wanted to lead I just keep finding myself outfront.

"Hardly more than two percent of the total population, Fieldmarshals are bound to lead others, and from an early age they can be observed taking command of groups. In some cases, they simply find themselves in charge of groups, and are mystified as to how this happened."

I don't know what this has to do with WLS though.

INTJ here, too--this is more INTJ's in one spot than almost any other I've seen! LOL We're supposed to be only 5% of the population! Kris, maybe this is something to consider, since INTJ's are the "contingency planners" of the world.

I did contingency planning for a living for about 10 years - I guess i really am an INTJ!:P

INTJ but my husband is an ESFP. We are complete opposites in our thinking. It makes communication difficult, but we make a great team. We can each cover for the others weaknesses.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
