Thanks! That just means I was in a lot worse position than your from the start! I'm shocked at how quickly it's come off... but I expect to hit the brakes sometime soon. In my opinion, as long as the trend is downward, I'm happy. You've lost 27 lbs...that's nothing to sneeze at!

82 total, starting in May. 23 before the pre-op, 22 on pre-op, 37 post surgery. My secret is really simple... be a man and be really heavy to begin with smile.gif

Thanks! Again though, 30 lbs for you is nothing to sneeze at. I'd wager you're much smaller than me already. I'm getting spoiled, so it will be much harder for me to deal with the slower loss when I get there. See? Y'all have an advantage on me smile.gif

....I did cheat! I initially had a lap band. It slipped twice, but I did lose weight on it before the slippage.

So how much are you down from when you originally got the lap band?

Yeah grats Ter! I don't know what my issue is then, I'm no where near to be done and last week i lost 1.8 dry.gif I work out five days a week too!

I am happy with any kind of loss but it's pretty sucky seeing everyone else with major losses at this point.

I'm sure yours will pick up Panda... or even if it doesn't, you're steadily losing. Slow and steady wins the race, right?

6 weeks? Math isn't my strong suit, but I think it's 5 weeks... right? in answer to your question, I'm still struggling with eating real food. Can't get down more than 1 to 1.5 oz's of chicken before I start feel the restriction. I can eat stuff with sauces pretty well, like Chili or spaghetti sauce, but not by itself. Went and played golf last weekend and had a bad episode... Ate too little and my blood sugar was bothering me, so I got a hot dog and ate it without the bun. I got it all down, but I think I got it down too quick. Was absolutely miserable for about 20 minutes. Was nauseous, broke out in a cold sweat and thought I was dying. Lesson learned! How's everyone else doing?

obviously math isn't mine either lol yeah it's 5. sorry about your golfing episode! I had one of those yesterday with a cowpal. I had company over so I wasn't paying attention to eating slow as I do alone. chicken is kinda rough for me too, i is ketchup to make it easier, extra cals, but i need that chunk of pure Protein ya know. Hope it gets easier, are you roasting the chicken like in a casserole with broth and everything, the juicer the chicken the easier i can get it down.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
