My brother in-law is a tattoo artist. So I have let him experiment on me. I have 3 tattoos, and I am scared that once I get the surgery, they will soon be deformed. :( I have a heart with wings with my dad's intials in the heart on my right ankle. I have the Good Luck Care Bear (the one with a clover on it's tummy) on my upper back, in between my shoulder blades, and on my right shoulder blade I have the Japanese meaning for sister and relationship. Anyone else have this?

I don't know about the one on your tummy or shoulder blades, but the one on you ankle should be fine. We don't lose a ton of weight right there!!smile.gif

They should all be fine. If you were talking about anything on breast tissue or your belly, well.... that's a different story. LOL

I was curious about that too. Will the ones are your arms and shoulders deform also?

My Husband is a tattooer and I was really considered about all of my tattoos. He told me that they will be fine but I only have them on my arms, caves and foot.

I have two - both on my back. A fairly big one between my shoulder blades and the proverbial tramp stamp. I have lost well over a hundred pounds and they are both unchanged. This tramp is still stamped :P

I love it!! "This tramp is still stamped" made me LOL. I guess after my surgery, this tramp will still be stamped.

I got my "tramp stamp" back when I was skinny, so if anything, it is more disformed now than it will be when I lose weight.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
