Thanks coops, a spot of kickboxing helped, but there is still some wrinkled hanging skin, but then I'm 53 so it's to be expected. I am off on hols this evening and I hope to do alot of scuba diving so that should build up the legs. My daughters think I am weedy now!

Please keep going and don't give up, it's a bit of a long slog but the VSG makes it achievable and maintainable.

Hey Jane,

have a great holiday, and when you return perhaps a lil more photo whoring via holiday pics???

I go to a boxing gym and it has made a huge difference in my overall muscle tone... it is a great feeling and well worth the effort!

You really did boost me this morning... I am going through ups and downs lately - again - do I stay where I am or carry on slogging away for a pound or two a mth? Now though, seeing you looking incredible I am defo gonna keep slogging away and be grateful for those few pounds a month... I want to wear a dress and heels like you and look as good and as confident as you do!! I don't mean to sound cheesy or like I am trying to crawl up your backside (not that I could fit into that tiny butt now...lol) but you really have given me a lot of encouragement and hope today... thank you x

Well hello pretty lady!!! You look fit and healthy and a least a decade younger than your 50s.

Thanks for sharing your pics! You look great and I see your BMI is a healthy 20. I'm aiming for a BMI of 21.8 and I'm 54. 40 lbs to go!

Jane - you look stupenous! Coops is right, your arms are fabulous - they look like you have lived in the gym for the year. The dress is great - but its the happiness shining out of your face that makes the picture wonderful. Show that to your surgeon, and you might be seeing your picture on his billboards!

BTW, I too love to shop resale shops. Best deals around!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
