What am I doing wrong!!!!!!

Recommended Posts

Good morning all, I just wanted to share how I was feeling this morning and get some feed back for you guys. I am 30 days post-op and I have only lost 16.4 lbs. last week I didn't loose anything. So most of my weight lost came during the first 2 weeks! I was sure that I would have lost more by now. What am I doing wrong? I must admit that I have been having a hard time finding a Protein that I can drink without gagging. All of the ones that I've tried have been disgusting and I can't gulp anything because it will back up on me. I work out 4-5 times a week for an hour. What are you guys doing? I'm getting a little discouraged but I went through so much to get where I am and I can't give up now.

I was sleeved on the 09/12/12 and just with the 3 day diet before surgery up until now I've lost 20 pounds so far.

I must ask you are you watching what you eat or drink because there are a couple of things you should remember and that is your calorie and carb intake.

And make sure your drinking your Water and as far as Protein have you tried the powder called unjury they tell me it's pretty good.

I just ordered some just the other day and now waiting for the arrival.

If you could try those few things I believe you will see a big change I'm so for sure.

Also just because the scale is not moving doesn't mean you’re not losing it could be in inches so you need to do your body measurements and that's where you can tell if your loosing or not.

I hope these few pointers have help you in some way your another if you should have any more questions or concerns please feel free to ask and I will continue to guide you as much as possible.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
