My surgery was changed from June13 to June 20th... I was a little disappointed, but got over it really quick! This gives me an extra week to get my mind right and now I can have BBQ with my family for Memorial day instead of starting my preop diet! I am just so glad I am still a Jewel!

I had my postop/preop visit today - I had the band out a week ago yesterday, getting sleeved a week from tomorrow. Good news is that they took me off the liquid preop diet and told me to just eat 1200 calories per day or less of whole foods (no processed, no fast food etc). I guess my liver look pretty good in person and so I don't need to shrink it. Whew. I was really struggling with the liquid diet. Which kind of worries me for after surgery.

I am getting both excited and nervous.

Just got home a couple of hours ago.. Lots of pain, lots of nausea. Not feeling so hot, but liquids arre going down really well. The powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury chicken broth is delicius. I ache all over.

My surgery is June 23rd!

I was sleeved on June 14th. I guess that makes me a jewel! I like that.

I'm not a Jewel of June anymore! I got a cold the day after my pre-op appt, 1 week before surgery. Surgery has been rescheduled for July 20. Good luck to all you lucky-duck Jewels of June!
