I am still here, LIfe is just so busy I do not have time to post nor read the board like I used to. Still loving my sleeve, I did read somewhere if you are craving sugar, that is a sign you are not getting enough Protein.... not saying that is a fact, but maybe somthing to it.. Still recommending to people... and then they thank you.. Drink that Water... Loving Life!!

18 months postop and down 90 pounds. So happy with my decision- at goal for 6 months and losing a pound every month or two now. Still tracking every bite and expect to continue to all my life. Keeping it under or about 1000 calories a day to maintain which is less than I expected but this tool makes it tolerable. BEST DECISION EVER!!

I'm still here, too. Two and a half years out, maintaining for well over a year, and still so happy I had WLS. I also have had lots of plastics, and I gotta say, I'm looking and feeling better than I did in my 30s and 40s! Not so bad :)

18 months out and very glad I did it! I'm kind of stuck right now. I lost 145 pounds all together with the opti fast and surgery but have been stuck for a few months. Any suggestions on getting the weight to start coming off again? I would still like to lose 50 pounds.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
