Agree with the Premier Protein. Vanilla is good cause you can use different SF Flavors do change it up. GNC go lean is good also.

I really liked GNC Lean shakes before surgery but after surgery my lil sleeve couldn't tolerate them. I LOVE Premier Protein RTD (ready to drink). chocolate is my favorite. It tastes like a frosty especially if you blend it with ice. Vanilla has a good flavor but has a gritty texture to it. I haven't found the strawberry one yet. I'm 8 months out and I've tried a lot of different shakes Premier is the only one I still drink.

I feel like a little liar. The cleaning lady in our my building stop me and asked me what did I do. And I Pretended like I did not know what she was talking about. She said you loss a lot of weight. What did you do? And I lied and said eating different and a lot of exercise.

That's not really a lie. You are eating differently and exercising. Frame your success however you would like. WLS is a tool that you have. It is not the end all to be all. Congratulations on your success!

It's not a lie though. I've been sweating my ass off in the gym and counting calories like a fiend. I know all of you guys have been too! So I am eating differently and working out. Yes, I had surgery, but it is not the only thing I've done to lose weight.

Hi, I have a question for post - op I'm having my surgery on 7/3/14 and I'm due to start my summer session in college. Do anyone think that would be a bad idea. I have heard of people going back to work in a week. I figured I took two weeks off work and my class is only 2 days a week so I can recuperate the rest of the time I'm not at work. A couple of family members been saying I'm doing to much and now I'm second guessing myself please give me an advise you can thanks

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
