Sometimes things that you really want to do not come easy. Thanks Ballermom for showing us that tenacity it sometimes takes to get this process moving along. You will need that strength of character along with positive thinking. Make sure you have supportive friends around and do not put stock in fake friends who only try to tear you down after your procedure. Be strong because you will still have to interact with those who like to eat and can and will eat(this procedure does not put you in a bubble) the sleeve keeps you from eating to much at one time but the sleeve does nothing for the head(that's all you baby!) so all my fellow sleevers and believers by all means keep it on straight and know what you are determined to achieve and don't let anything break your spirit. To each and everyone out there...A healthy mind, A healthier body and a healthy belief in prayer. My husband converted one of the rooms in our home to and home gym with flat screen tv and receiver and speakers. He also put Apple TV in there so i can watch all my favorite music videos and listen to my music. I been blessed this Christmas and I know he really wants me to succeed and is really in my corner. I can only use the treadmill right now (only 13 days out) but I am getting more stamina and when I use it I see results. Since I started pre-op diet size 24 BYE size 22 BYE and size 20 I am on my way to looking in the rear view mirror at. I went from a 3X up top to a XL. Yeah I smaller up top and I got that sista kaboose if ya know what I mean. Just the way I'm built. I may sound like I am tootin my own horn but I've wanted this for a long long long time. And I couldn't any other successful way to go about getting this weight and high blood pressure and diabetes issue to be a thing of the past. Y'all keep ya eye on it and believe in yourselves cause if you don't who else will?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
