Recommended Posts

Today I am 4 weeks out and I am kinda stressing about supper tonight. I am making the fam spaghetti and I am worried about what I should be eating tonight. I am trying to limit my carbs to under 20 a day. I really would appreciate some suggestions!!!!

I treid this - it sounds gross but it was actually good.

My Dr. Office calls this Lasagna

3/4 cottage cheese

2 egg whites

1/4 spaghetti sauce

Mix all together and bake 350 for 1/2 hour.

It puffs up like a soufle. Tastes great.

You could probably add some parmesan or cheddar cheese at 4 weeks. I did this at 2 weeks.

:unsure:You could use 1/3 cup cottage cheese and sprinkle with sauce and a little parmesan. You get the spaghetti taste without the carbs. Or........just do like I do and go in another room while they eat..LOL I so love spaghetti.

THANK YOU for posting this. I have been having a hankering for something spaghetti and I just happened to have all this in the house so I through it together. At first I was like ewww when I was mixing it, but I LOVE it now that it cooked. I added some chopped onion and parmesian right in the mix as well as on top and I will make it with some mushrooms next time and maybe a turkey meatball broken up.

Here is a link to the final product pic.................supper Yummy Picture

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
