Monday Morning Weigh In

Recommended Posts

You are a skinny lady, that's WHO you are, Missy Tiffy!!:001_tongue:

I'm with you 100%. I'm a control freak by nature, and regardless of how "nutty" it seems, I have to weigh every day, sometimes multiple times a day. It's just "who" I am.

You too ! ! !

I still have the inevitable belly fat that is shrinking, but not as fast as I would like. If I could shave that off, I'd be in a size 10 by now. I can't work out because of the stupid clot in my leg they found last week, and I'm so frustrated with the belly fat.

Hopefully, I'll be able to start working out on Wednesday or Thursday, and then I'm hitting the gym, and doing my core exercises. I have got to lose this belly fat roll. John affectionately calls it my little "donut tire". It's smaller than the spare, but still there.

I think you may just have to have that lipo'd off if it doesn't shrink enough for you.

AJW- I also go through a lot of up/down movement on the scale, it started with my first stall 2.5 weeks out. It sucks, but then it's so nice to see it drop and never go back.

Official weigh-in weight from this morning: 160.5 lbs. I did up the Protein by eating more meat last week, but was not successful in adding in a Protein Drink in the mornings...maybe this week? I've been noticing the weight loss has slowed down over the past month, but when I look at it like this--week by week--it helps me focus on the success.

196 this morning......

Kinda made me mad, I hadn't really ate anything this week!! But that might be the problem too!

Glad to see I'm not the only one that weighs everyday ( sometimes MORE )

But I lost another size!!

I just bought a size 12 Jeans!!!

Chancie,

That's GREAT about the size AND it's still a loss, so great job!

Last Monday was actually the lowest weight of the whole last week, I kept going up and down, but this morning I weighed in at 158.5!!! I am finally out of the 160's. The lowest I've ever weighed since 7th grade was 158, which was my sophomore year in high school (when I pretty much starved myself). I'm really hoping by next week to weigh under 158 and then I will be the lightest I've been basically in my entire teenage/adult life.

I just found this thread. Good idea Chancie! Today at home 212. Today at the gym 210. I went to my first Water exercize class today. Kinda fun, but, most of the women just gab. They do not do the exercize with any passion at all.?? What is the point? It was 57 degrees at 9AM the pool was 82 but, it was still to cold a situation for a gab fest. I will try again on Wed. I do not think I will make my goal of onederland for Christmas. Think I better revise my goal to New Years Day. hahahaah

Thank you Steph!

Carolyn, I paid for and started a deep Water exercise class 1 month post-op when the doctor cleared me for the pool. I found the exact same thing. People would gab, not even look at the instructor and kind of do their own thing, almost running into me a few times. I had taken Water classes a couple times before and never ran into this...I only went once and then decided I got a better workout elsewhere and stopped going. I wish you luck on Wednesday, maybe it will be a different group of ladies or instructor.

DeeDee-

Thats FANTASTIC!!! I know how frustrating it can be to be "stuck" at certain #'s.... we might put too much emphesus on it.. but itshow we have to be to stay focused.

I'm proud for you!! Keep up the good work!!!

I'm glad to see you others in here tooo!! I'm loving the company and want to see everyone do well!!

Tiff-

I got the same problem.. but I think mine is sooooooo much worse....... I have no ass....... everyone is commentting on it!! ( or LACK of it )

But it's all in my belly!!

It sucks... my belly is bigger than my ass!

Tummy Tuck is a DEFINITE! Gonna wait a year.. but I know I will have to have it done.

My g/f I went shopping with was mad... she was a 14!! I have always been the "biggest"... but she was over it quick! And I noticed today in the mirror at work.. the 14 pants I had on were really looking "saggy"............. GREAT NSV!!!

I can actually post early today because we're off due to snow. I ended up with 20" at my house. Yesterday we spent a total of 3 hours shoveling AND I'm so glad I do not have to go to work today because my back is so sore!!! I must have worked muscles that have never been used in my entire life. BUT, I actually was able to do it and not hurt much during the process, which is an NSV in my book.

Okay, now to the weigh in. This morning I weighed in at 156.5 lbs. I got to this weight a few days ago, but I will take it! It's two pounds down from last week and the lowest I've ever weighed!!!

Wow, that is fantastic! But you really deserve it, your exercise routine is to be commended, the sleeve is just a tool, and you get out of it what you put into it and it really shows. You are inspiring me to get moving, used my treadmill yesterday while watching extreme weightloss from " Big to Bikini" very inspiring. She lost 125 lbs in 9 mos. Anyway, today I reached a mini milestone too, weighed in at 169, finally broke out of the 170s!

Steph123 and DeeDee: WTG! I am sooooo envious. I amat 211 today, so a whopping one pound loss from last week. Hey, I'll take it!

Seriously, Christmas parties, lots of visitors from out of town staying with us. Upset my entire routine. I would not have it any other way. I know I have my "tool" for the rest of my life. So, I am relaxed and peaceful not stressed out and fearful of getting "off track" a bit durning these holidays. I have made an appt. with a trainer for Jan 2. I did not go back to the Water class. Just upped the level of my bike riding. Staying at 30 min. Knees are good still.

No snow for me to shovel. Great for you DeeDee!

WTG, Dee Dee. Lucky you have snow. We're in So. Cal., so winter is 50ish and no nothing, only rain when we get very lucky.:)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
