Very good job. I don't tell anyone how much I have lost or how much I want to lose. My business. My husband and this site knows, only and it will stay that way.

Just stop sharing the numbers and that way no one can say anything.

Again you didn't do it for them , hopefully U did it for u & ur health & they r probally jelous so say how much u lost and be proud of where u have gotten & at the things u can do now I just recently told someone that when I hit my goal I will have lost a total of 145 lbs I did this for my health & my self it took me 2 yrs. to think about my desicison so just remeber whay and how far you came so stay positive and keep the postive, let the negative go out with the weight l if u know what I mean lol

So true my goal my business thanks ladies

I always change the subject after thanking them for their compliments. It can be very uncomfortable when other people want to talk about it and my weight has always been a very personal thing to me.

I do find that around my closest friends if I say I need to lose another ten, they are taken aback and say no way. I think people are used to seeing others overweight in our culture and so someone who is healthy and thin throws off the perception of "normal weight."

I don't tell anyone how much I have lost. I just say thank you if they say it looks like you're losing weight. This is my own personal business. I share my thoughts with this forum mainly.

When they told me I had lost enough or too much, I just said okay, thanks for your opinion. "no, I am no sick!" Best wishes to your personal goal. Karen

You can never be too skinny or too rich..lol just kidding , but really it's no one's business.. my friends are already worrying whether I will get too thin.. I'm a grown woman and I think I can decide how thin I want to be...but I have a little over 20 lbs to go and I'm gonna finish this journey...

When people ask me how much more I want to lose, I say 'I'm not sure, but I'll know when I get there!'

Gets them off my back :-)

None of their business.

One time a friend started a convo with: " this might be none of my business........"

I said " yes it is"

Nuf sed.

Btw gang. I am 1 week to surgery and down 35 pounds from this picture. Wish me luck and safety

Right on.

(Just like the old commercial that says "only my hairdresser knows for sure"!)Only my surgeon's office knows for sure!
