"WALK IT OUT" ;) and may I be the First to WELCOME you prematurely of course to the "OTHER SIDE" and as Cheznoel said keep a steady flow of pain meds in your system..they work better if you take them before you NEED them. and get some sort of stool softener because in a week you'll be back asking how to help that BM along

Make sure you tell anesthesiologist if u are sensitive to anesthesia... I am and when I had my gallbladder removed i failed to mention. so after surgery and the days that followed I vomited violently!

When I got to my lap band Day, i was sure to express my fear of vomiting and the anesthesiologist, gave me the good stuff and I didn't get sick at all!

Good Luck and God bless!

Take care of yourself and make sure you get plenty of rest! You will be fine. Had my surgery last Friday. Getting better day by day. Of course, not as fast as I want but it's coming along. Good luck!

Jackie they probably in-and-out cathed you when you were under anesthesia! They need a way of monitoring your urine output during the procedure/anesthesia. I'll be same day but I work in the hospital so I know what's up with the nether regions

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
