OHHHh Penni I am jealous! I love your car and looked at one 10 years ago - the model has changed some, but they are soooo nice. I went with a gold Sebring sports package then, but wished I hadn't.

Hmmm wonder if I can talk the hubby into one of those instead of an suv or van for our next vehicle hehehe <going to drool at Chrysler now>

I just bought a 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara in burgandy today. Had planned to go with a moderate one, but decided to go all the way, leather, sunroof, running boards & heated seats. It is beautiful & the XM radio is fantastic. I feel like a princess!

The Pimp Mobile!!!!!That is what I call her.... LOL 1994 Buick Lasabre.

I used to be the new car every two or three years girl. Hubby and I gave up or 24/7 corporate america jobs and moved to the beach in Florida. This car is like driving a boat! It was the "teenagers" car when we lived in Connecticut. She only has 78,000 miles on her, tons of dents and scratches...

TOP 10 REASONS TO OWN A PIMPMOBILE:

1. you can park her anywhere with no worries

2. you don't have to worry about someone parked next to you denting the door

3. no one would even THINK about stealing her

4. the paint job is already scratched from the teenagers

5. I never have to lock the doors

6. low insurance rates

7. no car payments

8. cart the grandkids around and not worry about the upolstry

9. very reliable

AND THE NUMBER ONE REASON TO KEEP DRIVING THE PIMPMOBILE..........

10. I LOVE HER

:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

NJchick, we drive the same van, mine is patriotic blue (i think). I love it, though wish I could afford to get hubby a sportier car that I could borrow from time to time. He really wanted a cooper before but has started looking at hybrids because of the gas prices. I have about another 8 months to pay off the town and country and then we will buy his car.

My DH is getting very close to ordering his new sports car. He has been looking at all 2 seater and some 4 seater sports cars on the market. The first car we looked at was the BMW Z4. I told the salesman. "If it were me, I would look no further and buy that baby." Yes, I am the impulse buyer in the family. After many cars and many dealerships and much internet surfing, my husband wanted us to go back to the 1st BMW delearship to look at the BMW Z4 again. So yesterday we went to look again at the BMW Z4. He just about turned that car inside out looking it over. When we left, I asked him if he decided yet. He said "Yes the BMW Z4." I said "Why". He said "It has the biggest trunk." I said "Are you ready to buy it?" He said "No, I have to study over the option brocheur and ask the salesman more questions first."

Can anyone guess what my husband does for a living?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
