  4. With my augmentation, my breasts corrected itself slightly. But from what I have gathered, a great majority of women tend to have one larger/longer breast than the other. If you are upset with them and if you are losing sleep over it then definately redo them. But no surgery has 100% guarantee. I would leave them alone. They look great.
  5. It never hits you that you are normal size, at least for me. I sit and still feel I am overweight, then I catch myself in a restaurant window as I walk by and see how I really look. I'm tiny on the outside, but still that "made fun of, shy girl" on the inside. The reality is....every time I look in the mirror at myself, I am always surprised that people see ME as "normal".
  6. Lonnielove, lapbandtalk is a community of soon-to-be, hoping-to-be and lapbanded people who come together to share experiences on their lapband journey. At the same time, this particular thread is in a section geared towards any "off the wall" topic. As we all have something in common, we don't always want to just talk about lapband issues..

bumping this thread, too fun to forget about
  8. Hello everyone! This thread was a good idea. I was lapbanded 4/11/2006 and...oh wow, this april will be my 4th year. Unbelieveable! Anyway....I am 5ft 2inches in stature, started at 240lbs and now 123lbs. I lost 95% of my weight within the first 10 months. The lapband has been a great tool in assisting me with food portions, but the pavement, the gym, my mountain bike, coupled with the lapband, ultimately got my weight off and have kept it off for almost 4 years now. I've had reconstructive surgeries in Mexico - a TT and Breast Augmentation as I was disproportionate after the weight reduction. I have also had a port replacement as it became leaky. I am here for anyone that needs info, has questions about the "journey" and just needs some guidance. I've most likely been there and done that.
  9. Just tagging this thread for future reading.
  10. Unfortunately I had a miscarriage. I'm ok to talk about it now. I wondered if my workouts or crazy active lifestyle had anything to do with it. My doctor said, absolutely not. I have a question. How long should we wait to try again? My doctor said to wait a few months.
  11. Thank you Tink and Gone4ever. I will find out.
  12. I'm no expert but from reading your post, I had a similar symptom when my tubing became pierced.......I had a weird taste, normal saline, (NA Saline) leaked through the tubing and sent the taste.
  13. Thank you "Kiss" and your response is exactly what I needed to read. I agree with you and have been feeling this way since I've found out. As long as I get good nutrition in, I don't want to get an unfill until it's too tight. I want to continue to regulate my intake without undereating for 2 now, but I will talk with my doctor. It's interesting how things change overnight.
  14. Thank you gone4ever. I am happy about this newer addition to my tribe. I will start pre-natal vitamins today and came to a dilemna....I don't do pills well since being lapbanded and was wondering is there any other way I can consume them? I can crush them but that would be insane to crush them daily but...is there a liquid pre-natal?
  15. Everything is good in my world. At goal weight and now expecting a baby.
