If you're not already' date=' track calories and measure your portions. It's the only way to be 100% sure you're not accidentally eating too much.[/quote']

I have been using lost it app but with no luck

If you're tracking calories and exercising, then it's just a plateau I know they suck and they're frustrating but it's a very normal part of weight loss. Keep staying within your daily calorie allowance and exercising the weight will start coming off again.

How often do you weigh yourself?

Do you see alot of fluctuation day to day?

44lbs in 2 months is nothing to sneeze at. If you lost a lot of that weight quickly you're probably replacing it with denser muscle and if you continue to watch what you eat and increase your activity level the numbers will start moving again.

Well, I'm a complete newbie, but I would be really surprised if this isn't just a fill issue. Think things will change once you have proper restriction and I'm pretty certain 3CC isn't going to do it. I started at 2.5 and that didn't do squat. At 4.6 and starting to have some restriction which has already started pushing the scale back to the right direction.

Really excited about my 3rd fill as I've read many posts where that was the magic one. Not all get lucky and nail it on the 3rd fill, but it seems a lot do.

Hang in there. I'm certain you will be fine soon.

Definetly time for a fill! Take it from me I just gained some weight back bc I didn't have enough in there, get yourself a fill and keep up those good habits that have gotten you to where you are already!!

Get used to the word plateau, because this will be the first of many. Just push through it by maybe cutting back a few calories and adding in some extra exercise. I think the body takes a little mini break from all the weight loss now and then. It's perfectly normal. As long as you don't gain in the interim. ;)

While a fill may be necessary the amount of Fluid is different for everyone. Some people never need a fill. When I went in for a fill earlier this week the Surgeon was only willing to give me 0.33cc putting me at 3.33cc in a 10cc band and I'm a big guy with over a hundred pounds left to use. But I've been losing slowly but steadily and he didn't want to push things and risk needing an unfill.

Remember losing weight slowly is just an opportunity for you to adapt to your new normal more naturally.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

Iʻm roughly 6 weeks post-op this morning and have begun to feel like a normal human, with a normal human body again. I started introducing solid foods and pill forms of medications/supplements a couple of weeks ago and it's really amazing to eat meals with my family again, despite the fact that my portions are so much smaller than theirs.
I live on the island of Oʻahu and spend a lot of time in the water- for exercise, for play,  and for spiritual & mental health. The day I had my month out appointment with my surgeon, I packed all my gear in my truck, anticipating his permission to get back in the ocean. The minute I walked out of that hospital I drove straight to the shore and got in that water. Hallelujah! My appointment was at 10 am. I didn't get home until after 5 pm.
I'm down 31 pounds since the day of surgery and 47 since my pre-op diet began, with that typical week long stall occurring at three weeks. I'm really starting to see some changes lately- some of my clothing is too big, some fits again. The most drastic changes I notice however are in my face. I've also noticed my endurance and flexibility increasing. I was really starting to be held up physically, and I'm so grateful that I'm seeing that turn around in such short order.
My general disposition lately is hopeful and motivated. The only thing that bugs me on a daily basis still is the way those supplements make my house smell. So stink! But I just bought a smell proof bag online that other people use to put their pot in. My house doesn't stink anymore.
