  1. Alex Brecher started following Lady Lap Band
  2. Well I would not force yourself to throw up. However sometimes when I have something stuck all I have to do it lean over the toilet and it comes right how. Whatever you do don’t drink, it always makes it worse for me. Walk around as much as you can maybe it will move it?
  3. Wow thank you for this! You said lots of things I tell people all the time. I personally lost 103lbs to gain 30lbs back. I've recently taken off my regain glasses and am feeling great again! =)
  4. I've had the same issue the past year. I've been in the "zone" but couldn't not seem to kick my high calorie drinks, I just love starbucks. I've found some motivation again recently and have been counting calories allowing myself to have 1500 per day with a 2 mile walk. I've dropped a few lbs this week. I would suggest not getting a fill and just log your food for a while and that will help you be more mindful of what you are putting in your body.
  5. Congrats!!! Very exciting!!! Don't be nervous May 7th is the first day of a brand new life that is amazing.
  6. Hey willow!!! I'll have to take some time like I did for the original group to collect user names of June Journeys and invite them to join the group!!!!
  7. I'm so sorry you are having such a tough time. There are many people in the same boat as you. Sounds like you and I were banded about the same time. My surgery was June 19, 2009 and I'm down about 100lbs. My best advice is to be aggressive with fills, I was. Also you don't need to work out hardcore, just walk. I walk 45 minutes everyday.
  8. Lap Band talk started groups again so I have re created out group!! here is a link! http://www.lapbandtalk.com/groups/show/7-june-journeys-2009/
  9. I started the process in Dec. of 2008 and found my my surgery date 3 months later. I have recently heard of the sleeve and it does sound neat but I would not want a surgery that is so new.
  10. I dont think that any food really has to go of course if you can't physically eat it then you can't eat it. Otherwise eat what you want because the band should make you not able to eat the amounts that you want!
  11. Some doctors will say one band over the other because that is all they have. All my doctors office had at the time I was banded was the Lap band...they didnt get the realize until months later
  12. I eat Chinese and Thai all the time, yum!
  13. I think you might using the wrong code?? Try the bbCode that tickerfactory gives you above the HTML one.
  14. Congrats!! I am so happy for you!!! I was just like you one that "held the weight well" lol I never looked like what I weighed to other people. Nov. 2nd is around the corner, keep us updated!
  15. Yay!! Congrats on taking the first step to having WLS! You should take a look at some blogs too you will find some great friends there!
