WEIGHT LOSS UPDATE: I've lost my four-year old son!!

Recommended Posts

Yesterday, I weighed myself after my son had checked his weight (it's a daily thing around here!)...

I have lost my son in weight!!! I went around to everyone who could hold him... "here's how much weight I've lost", "can you believe I had to carry around this much extra weight?", "no wonder I've gone from a 22/24 to a 16", etc...

Now, if I can only lose my 8 year-old daughter!!!!:)

Me too. I saw your title and my heart dropped. I thought you really lost your daughter. :)

Happy and proud for you though that you lost all of that weight. Gone for good.

I am on my way... new bandster as of 04/11/06 and 12lbs down from that day.

One day at a time :)

9-1-1!!

9-1-1!!

I think I am having a heart attack! What? Wait.

You lost the amount of weight equal to your four year old's weight.

PHEW!! That is a scary title for your post.

Cheri,

Love the title. :biggrin1: :biggrin1:

Congrat's on losing your child... LOL. ((I feel funny saying that. ha!)

Hope that everytime you pick him up - you breath a sigh of relief! :clap2:

Congratulations, Cheri! But your title scared me, too. Can I edit it to put a smilie face icon on it, at least? Or change the title?

As far as weight lost goes, I've lost BOTH my 7 y.o. AND my 5 y.o. daughters!! :)

I agree with editing the title. I thought my day was going to suck today after reading that heading. Glad I'm not going to be depressed all day!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
