I was banded 4 yrs ago and same thing.i was thinking about giving it another try for long time. I saw. Picture of myself and that as the push I needed. I went to doctor and they checked my band and even gave me a small fill. The nurse went over the guidelines with me and gave me a book. I have been very obsessed with being good. I measure and track absolutely evertying. Spent a lot of time here and in the chat room and have done vy well. I also only weigh once a week.i ave lost 32.2 lbs since the end of October. You hear a lot of talk on here about want power. It's true. You have to be ready and really really want it. You can do it! Remember it is a lifestyle change not a diet.

If you eat less calories than you burn you can lose the weight. I would get back in to see the dr and start over....best of luck to you!!

I also tracked my food for about a month and then took it to a nutritionist who works with my doctor. I have made a lot of changes but the main ones are I cook most of my meals now and have actively been lowering my sodium which means much less processed foods. I really feel more satisfied for longer periods eating this way. I also really enjoy eating more then ever.

Each journey starts with a step! Gotta get your mind back in the game and you can do it. Just think how differently we look at food now that before WLS...

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
