I am no longer Super Morbidly Obese!

My BMI went down to 59, so I am "just" morbidly obese! Weird victory, butsince I started at 66, I'll take what I can get.

Thanks everyone. Please believe me when I tell you all, this is the absolutely only place I can share this!

All of these mini victories are important. Count them all and don't be afraid to post. You are on the road to a healthier you! Congratulations.

I hear ya on this and it is a great victory. I also understand that this is the only place you share certain things. My family, nor fiance know my weight, bmi, etc. Maybe when I get near goal I will admit it but not now! I was just calculating my bmi the other day to see where I fit now on the "obese" scale.

About 8 years ago I had an emergency appendectomy. Later I got the surgeons report from the hospital and was in tears as he wrote several times that I was morbidly obese, extremely obese, etc.... NO MORE!!!

I am very happy for you!!!

Yay!!!!!

Wait until you go to just "obese" and then the jackpot of "fat"!!!

Your thread made me laugh - thanks!

Reminds me of when my sister called me after a DR. appt all upset because he called her "a beast". Took me a minute to figure out she misheard "obese". We both laughed at that!!

congrats....all the NSV are what keeps us moving in the right direction !!!
