3 days post op' date=' on liquids and not hungry at all. My stomach churns a lot but I think it's cos of the gas. I cant burp very well so it feels like there is a lot if gas to cone up.

I have a sharp pain on the left shoulder and also my left side ribs and it hurts when I breathe. Did anyone else feel like this??

What's the best thing to do??

I'm meant to be going back to work in 3 days.

I did and my shoulder pain lasted for two weeks. I tried everything. Just hang in there and remember, it is temporary.

So bloated my work pants don't fit even though I've lost 5kg.

Day 6 post op still very bloated and gassy but back at work.

I have been walking heaps, (Average of 2-3km walking per day) and taking de-gas.

That was the worst part of the whole surgery was the "gas" that would not leave. It was painful to even have my seatbelt on when my husband took me for my first week check up. It is all downhill from there. It will eventually come out and after 4 years it is still coming out of that end. Just think how great you will feel when it is 4 months from now and you can fit into smaller clothes. Be patient.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
