I was banded at the end of June I was 198, I don't know what I expected but it has been very slow I'm now 167 I'm a Cyclest I ride between 75 to 125 miles a week I'm Also running, my Dr said that my body is holding on to everything to much exercise and to little calories consumed so I need to slow down on the exercise crazy, one good thing I was shopping my daughter gave a pair of pants to try on from Jcrew and I loved how they fit when I looked they were size 6!!' I asked for a different pair thinking the were missed label but the other ones fit as good is just the scale that is moving very slowly

Not in my book!!! I did slowly gain once, as my body tone/shape changed, but then it all let loose and got me off a plateau like i jumped off a cliff.....

Not such a thing. Just make sure u are taking in enough calories to give your body what it needs to maintain heal and function. If u completely deplete it then it will hold on to whatever u are giving it!

With that amount of exercise you must make sure you are getting a lot of Protein to keep your muscles healthy. You may want to check out livestrong website, lots of info about things like this.

Also, remember that muscle weight more than fat, so if your leg muscles are in awesome shape which likely they are with the cycling, you should look more at your body fat %. Chances are you have low body fat and high muscle.

To me it sounds like you are in awesome shape and should just enjoy a size 6!!! You go girl!

You'll know if you're overtraining. You won't recover, you'll lack energy, not sleep well and you may get depressed too. Maybe your immunity will take a nose dive and you'll pick up annoying colds etc.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
