Didn't feel like taking myself to the gym today was in lazy mode but I went anyway and feel accomplished I hate these spurts where I don't feel like going! Sometimes I wish I had a buddy to encourage me! Friday I have a weigh in with my surgeon and hoping that I shredded some pounds since my last appointment which was a month ago

Barblox,

Love this post! The power derived from " going anyway" permeates all decisions around food AND other parts of our lives. "Small wins" add up and impact us significantly just as "small loses" do.

Kudos!

Hope in your future is power in your present,

Lee

The days I just donot want to go to the gym, usually turn out to be the best workouts.....

I get down when I miss a gym day.....

I go to the gym 5 days a week, at 5-6am.....after my morning coffee, Vitamins and a shot of Protein.....

Then off to work all day seeing patients in clinic...so I am always on my feet.

Calories in versus calories burned!!!

I just dragged my tired self down to the cricket oval. Ran sprints, did pushups, pull ups and triceps dips on the barriers, step ups on the seats, lunge wlking and finished off with sprints and jumping jacks. The puppy came with me, as I'd my daughter nd a neighbourhood friend. Didn't wanto go but feel awesome now!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
