Yes, it is frustrating but remember that the numbers on the scale are only one measure of your success. How are you going with inches lost? What about the size of your clothes?

I think of a plateau as a time when my body is catching up on the changes that I have made. My body has become used to me eating less and working out more so it has stopped reacting (i.e. losing weight). Generally I find that changing something up such as my exercise, intensity, eating a little more, eating a little less, will get the scales moving again.

You will get past it. Hang in there!

Try mixing things up. Eat more or less than you have been ( don't know what your calorie intake is). Do you exercise? If so change what you are doing. I know it sucks when the scale doesn't move, but what about inches? Take your measurements, bet they have changed.

Don't give up! This too shall pass!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
