Birthday Tomorrow, And I Want Cake, Any Suggestions?

Just one piece :) I checked out sugar free options at the grocery store and the carbs are quite a bit. Any suggestions?

Select a healthy way to Celebrate without cake. "Fake" cake or ice cream etc... For Me always leads back to the real thing.

Good luck and happy bday!

absolutely, eat a small piece of whatever you buy and enjoy every bite.

we are not on a diet. happiest birthday ever to you

Frozen yogurt, skinney cow ice cream sandwich..............if that is what you are craving, don't deny, just don't over induldge............have what it takes to make you satisfied then walk away.

Have a small portion, enjoy your birthday :)

HAVE A BITE! IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY!

if you like chocolate cake you can mix 1 box chocolate cake mix with 1 can diet coke and bake as directed on the box. I think 1/12 of the cake is like 120 calories. Been a while since I have made it. Dollop with some cool whip! Or just have one piece from somewhere! It's your birthday girl!!

Yes! The ever popular "Pop Cake"....There are so many combos...white cake is good with diet 7up, diet Cherry 7up, diet Mountain Dew..etc. Chocolate Cake is good with diet Pepsi/Coke, diet Dr.Pepper, and diet Root Beer. You can also do cupcakes for better portion control.

Good luck and ENJOY your B-Day =)

There are two ways to look at this. Can you just have one bite? If so by all means have it.

If not... Then don't have a bite. You have enjoyed cake for 34 or so birthdays. Missing one or 2 in order to get control of your eating and let the band work for you is certainly worth it.

Once you hit goal you can enjoy it again in moderation. I chose option number 2 for 22 months and it paid off in spades. Now I can have a bite or 2 and be satisfied and know it won't do any damage.

Though I skipped cake on my last birthday (it was just after my surgery), I fully intend to have a bite or 2 next year...

We can't be compliant 100% of the time...so enjoy your day and your cake within reason.

It's your birthday, enjoy a small piece of whatever you desire. Happy birthday for tomorrow!!!

Thank you all for the birthday wishes and suggestions :) Jungle Jim's (awesome place if you ever get the chance to visit, it's in Ohio) just opened up not too far from me, so I think I'm going to hit the bakery and get something small, so in essence it will be bites.

happy birthday!

Happy birthday! I vote you should get a special treat and savor it.

a thin slice to honor your birthday with nonfat milk or decaf coffee.

Happy Birthday!!

It's your birthday so enjoy your day a bite of cake is not going to sabotage anything. Everything is "legally" OK ;). You aren't on a diet, your on a new life path. It's the trip that you should enjoy. Happy Birthday and many more.
