In Need Of Lots And Lots Of Prayers...my Big Day Is Tomorrow @ 09020Hrs!!!

OMG....So overwhelmed...excited scared.....

I have been out all day since 6am....running around doing some last minute shopping. I'm so worried, I hope that I did not forget anything. Got my pre-op meds for pain and nerve pain.....boy this is really happening in a few hrs.....

So scared that I did not really feel hungry throughout the day and supposed to be NPO after midnight.......I know I will be feeling the pain later.

I'm so nervous right now, that I started cleaning my house though there's not much to clean...I have to keep myself busy not to think about it. The more I think, the more scared I get......I think the anticipation is worst then anything. O.K have to go keep myself busy............I'm usually so positive and optimistic but right now, I'M IN PANIC MODE....So prayers are needed and will be greatly appreciated!!!

Breathe, relax. Everything will be fine. Tomorrow you are going to start your new life and it is going to be wonderful. You are in my prayers for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.

Take care and keep us posted.

No need to panic...you're doing positive things to distract yourself.

If you can, bring a chapstick to the hospital with you...my lips got incredibly dry!

Sending positive energy and prayers for your fast and uncomplicated recovery.

Best wishes...

I too am sending T&P for tomorrow and your whole WL journey.

Remember Drs wouldn't recommend this if it wasn't a safe procedure.

Plus how many people here and not here having this surgery with no problems.

You're fine! You can do this! Kick butt!

I will never forget the night before. I was terrified. Pffftttt... piece of cake!

Best of Luck to you - and I will say a little prayer that all goes as planned!

Best of luck with your surgery. I am sure you will be fine and have a successful recovery.

You poor thing, what you are feeling is very normal. Yes keep busy, it's a good distraction. Take a deep breath and you'll be fine.

Best wishes to you!!

Best of Luck and I will be in ure shoes in about 5 days

Good luck Hon. I was banded on 9-6 so believe me I know what you are going through.Take a deep breath you are on your way to next chapter of your brand new life.best wishes you will be in my prayerstomorrow.I will see you on the losers bench soon :)

you can do this ! i was home in 5 hrs, rested for 3 days and by day 3 i was so bored i went out and did a little lite Christmas shopping. by day 7 i was back at work ! The surgery itself was a breeze, it just felt like a bad pulled muscle on my left side for 10 days. Dont forget your chapstick and a big bottle of water, you'll need them after surgery for " cottonmouth." Good luck !

Thanks for the tips...got my chapstick and water ready.....

You'll do just fine! A little rest and relaxation afterward, and welcome to the club! I was petrified, and like everyone is saying ... It was a piece of cake (no pun intended!) I also didn't sleep hardly the night before which in hindsight was good because I was more than ready to get "knocked out" for the surgery .. I didn't care, I just wanted to sleep! You'll do wonderfully too!

You will be fine! Praying for you ! God bless !

Good luck today! Still in my T&P!!!

I remember being there:) you'll be fine!! Prayers coming ur way!!!
