  1. Be who you are and say what you feel. Cause those that matter won't mind and those that's mind- DONt matter!! Its all about freedom of speech. You don't like it don't read it. Period. There's no need to be rude! keep posting away and praising God. I'll read it:D
  2. I AM not drinking enough. I just don't know why!! I hate Water and havecto start getting on that!!
  3. I too have had this happen in the past, 3 times I we t to the ER cause I was so scared. They chaulked it up as panic/ anxiety. And the meds they gave me worked. Attivan. Since being banded I'm getting palpitations more often..not sure if it's just a more stress cause I'm only 3 weeks post op and started a new job theis past week. It's so nerve wracking though. So I feel your pain. I hope it works out for you:)

  10. Make this your number 1 priority!! The band isn't gonna work with junk food. There's too much to risk, you just went through a major life changing surgery!!!! Stay strong!! When u get paid, stock up on all the good food, that's what I do! The more it's in your face, the more that's what u grab for!! Good luck!! You can DO THIS:)
  11. WTG. U did it!!! I'm 13 days post op. and it was a rough go for me. The 1st week was hard. But it went fast!! I had all liquid meds when I came home from surgery. Had my post op appt with surgeon today and he said I'm cleared for real food, and excercise. yay!! I incidentally asked about pills, cause I take anxiety meds and wanted to know about tylonal for headaches. And they said its fine. Not sure how big the Vicoden is. I'd personally call your surgeons office and find out:) good luck on your new journey!!!
  12. Of course I hope it changes, I love eggbeaters!! maybe I just have to get used to food again lol
  13. Eww. Yuck. Thought I'd be thrilled to have my egg beaters this morning. But they taste gross!!! 2 bites and I was done. Oh well bring me a coffee protien Drink please lol
  14. Full liquid in my diet (per surgeon) consist's of any thing that slides off a spoon. Yogurt included. Of course Greek because if high protien. My mushie's start this wednesday !! Thank god:)
  15. Omg Ken's lite olive oil & vinegar is a great option that tastes a bit like a Caesar to me. I love it. Jus saying. Lol
  16. U are not alone! I'm only 9 days post op and already. Some days ate good and others are..WTh did I get myself into. It's a struggle, as someone else put it perfectly. We need food to survive. We have to make the right choices. The only thing I'm doing is , not only day by day, I'm holding myself accountable for every hour. Or every 'meal'. Never forget something important my surgeon told me. The 80/20 rule. No one is perfect! If you can do great 80% of the time, you'll succeed. Leave the 20% for mistakes if you need to. Never best yourself up!! Good luck;)
  17. My surgeon says do not drink water 1/2 he before or after. To keep the protien (that we eat first of course) in our pouch longer. To make sure we get all the nutrients from the food. The water would push it through a little quicker, leaving less nutrients in our stomach to be flourished into the body. Just my 2cents.
  18. My surgeon says decaff tea or coffee is just fine.
