I Can't Figure Out Where My Port Is.

That's my location at the long incision.

I'm so glad you asked that! I've been wondering the same thing. My incisions are where my gallbladder incisions were... in my naval; 1-1/2" incision about three inches above naval and a dime-sized incision to the right and below that one; making an equilateral triangle. Are everyone's incisions always in the same place?

My port is to the left and about an inch from my longest incision. I can feel a hardness there when I stand up. I always knew where it was bc it hurt there while I was healing!

You guys have really great doctors if you don't know where your port is! Wait till you lose some weight - it'll become very pronounced. I can see mine thru my shirt. I could always feel mine tho - even before I lost any weight.

My port sits above and left of belly button, surgeons preference. The last fill I had he had me put my fingers to feel my port and kind of jiggle the area. My surgeon is so awesome and very precise and neat with the fills. Never have had a problem and he still asks me if I want lidocaine at the site....so sweet and good bedside manners.

My dr put mine on my waist line... Like not even an inch away from my belly button. Needless to say on my first fill I was shocked to see where it was located

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
