Received insurance approval and my date today!!! Sept. 24th!! Hooray!!

Yes I am 14days away from a lap band- I live in London

One week to go!!!! I started this process in April and I can't beleive only one more week. I went to the hospital today for my pre op tests and a tour of the floor I will be staying on with one of the nurses. I also got shown the pre op area and what I can expect to happen before the surgery. That really did make me feel more comfortable.

I'm on day 7 of my pre op diet ( can't beleive I have had nothing but liquids for a week) with 6 more days to go. The first 5 days were ROUGH, but yesterday and today better thankfully. I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, now hopfully I won't get any bad calls about my pre op tests.....lol. We have a lot of people still going in this week so many prayers to all you!!!

I'm getting banded September 6th I've been on pre op diet since the 23rd

Hello I have the first time appointment with Dr Aguilar, to start my 3 weeks liquid diet, can you tell me how you feel and besides de liquid what else you eat?

Hello, how you been doing with this liquid diet, I will start today or tomorrow I will know when I see Dr Aguilar today. What else do you eat?

I posted a new thread under post-op for fellow sept bandsters. Had my surgery yesterday. I'm uncomfortable but doing ok.

At hospital now waiting to go into surgery in 30 mins.

My Dr provides shakes have 5 a day and 2 oz of protien 2 oz of veg then sugar free beverages.It's rough but not unbearable
